True Colors from Gensan wins 'Showtime' grand finals

"True Colors" was declared champion after the group wowed the "madlang hurados" and "madlang people" with their flawlessly-executed death-defying stunts and dance moves.

The group garnered an average score of 9.91 and received a total cash prize of P2 million--P1 million for the group members and P1 million for its barangay.

"Showtime" resident judge Vice Ganda earlier predicted that the Gensan group will emerge as winner in the battle.

"Proud ako sa ginawa niyo... Nakakaloka. Gensan is 'Showtime,'" Vice Ganda said.

In an interview with abs-cbnNEWS.com, Marjhun Millan, a member of "True Colors", expressed joy after winning the contest.

"Masayang-masaya kami sa naging reaction ng mga tao. Hindi namin in-expect na mananalo kami kasi ang gagaling din ng ibang contestants," he said.

Millan divulged how proud the group is to have followed in the steps of XB Gensan, who won the first "Showtime" grand finals.

"Proud kami na nanalo ulit ang taga-Gensan. Sobrang masayang-masaya kami," he said.
