92 abused Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) return from Kuwait

Ninety-two overseas Filipino workers arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1 on board Kuwait Airlines flight KU 411, according to airport officials.

Overseas Workers and Welfare Administration (OWWA) officials welcomed them at the airport, NAIA Terminal 1 manager Dante Basanta said.

The OFWs can avail of legal assistance if they want to sue their former employers and recruiters, according to OWWA Administrator Carmelita Dimzon.

She said the agency also has a livelihood assistance program for the distressed migrant workers.
