Escudero was hounded by questions from the media on his private life, putting him on the spot on his alleged romantic links to Aquino's youngest sister, controversial television host Kris Aquino.
One reporter asked Escudero, "Handa ka bang tawaging siyang kuya Noy?"
Escudero laughed and retreated jokingly before facing the media again.
Earlier, ABS-CBN asked Escudero if he has met Kris' sons James Jr. and Joshua, to which he answered no.
When he was asked point blank if he is dating Kris, he again said no.
When another reporter rephrased the question and asked if Kris is dating him, Escudero merely laughed.
Escudero did confirm he will appear as a guest in Kris' upcoming talk show on ABS-CBN.
Another reporter asked why Kris is being linked to him to which Escudero jokingly replied, "Ewan ko ikaw nagtatanong eh."
After the series of questions about Kris, Escudero remarked "Wala bang mas mabigat na problema ang Pilipinas?"
Earlier, ABS-CBN News tried to ask him more questions about his links to Kris, but jokingly replied, "Utang na loob, wag na."
Escudero's camp has been mum on his private life, particularly his reported separation from his wife Christine.
