In an advisory, the Manila Police District's Traffic Enforcement Unit said the stretch of Roxas Boulevard's north and southbound lane from Katigbak to T.M. Kalaw will be closed from 5 a.m. to 9 a.m. for flag-raising and wreath-laying ceremonies.
Meanwhile, the following will be affected by traffic re-routing during the same period:
All vehicles traveling southward coming from Delpan Bridge-Pier Zone should turn left to P. Burgos, right Ma. Orosa to their point of destination.
All vehicles traveling northward along Roxas Boulevard shall turn right T.M. Kalaw to their point of destination.
All vehicles coming from McArthur Bridge, Jones Bridge, and Quezon Bridge that want to use the southbound lane of Roxas Boulevard from P. Burgos should take Taft Avenue to their point of destination.
All cargo trucks traveling Osmeña Highway should tun right to Quirino Ave., straight ahead to Nagtahan, A.H. Lacson, Yuseco St., crossing Jose Abad Santos straight Raxabago, Capulong to their point of destination (vice-versa).
From 12 noon onwards, the following roads will be closed for a civic and military parade:
Stretch of Roxas Blvd. and Bonifacio Drive north and southbound from Anda Circle to Quirino
Stretch of P. Burgos east and westbound from Roxas Blvd. to Ma. Orosa
Stretch of T.M. Kalaw east and westbound from Roxas Blvd. to M.H. del Pilar
Finance Road/Taft Ave
Lagusnilad/P. Burgos
Re-routing:
All vehicles traveling northward along Roxas Blvd. should turn right to President Quirino to point of destination.
All vehicles coming from Pier Zone/northern part of Manila intending to use the stretch of Bonifacio Drive/Roxas Blvd. shall turn left to A. Soriano to their point of destination.
All vehicles coming from the Jones, McArthur, and Quezon bridges intending to use Roxas Blvd. should go straight to Taft Avenue, turn right to Quirino to point of destination.
PUJs and other vehicles intending to proceed to Pier South coming from the 3 bridges should turn right to Victoria St. to their point of destination.
All cargo trucks traveling along Osmeña Highway should turn right to Quirino Ave., straight ahead to Nagtahan, A.H. Lacson, Yuseco St., crossing Jose Abad Santos straight Raxabago, and Capulong to their point of destination (vice versa).
