World Boxing Organization (WBO) welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao said he is considering the reported US$65-million offer by Mexican billionaire Carlos Slim for him to fight in Mexico.
The Philippines' "fighting congressman," however, said he will first seek the advice of his manager.
Slim, a telecommunications mogul currently ranked by Forbes Magazine as the richest man in the world, reportedly offered Pacquiao $65 million to fight young Mexican boxer Saul “Canelo” Alvarez.
Pacquiao's promoter Bob Arum of Top Rank is receptive to what could be his ward's biggest and most lucrative fight yet.
