Bagyong Pedring (Tropical Storm Pedring 2011) Update

The Philippine Atmospheric and Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) announced on September 26, 2011 that Tropical Storm “Pedring” (Bagyong Pedring) has maintained its strength and continues to move towards Isabela-Aurora area.

At 4:00 a.m. Monday, the state weather bureau reported that TS “Pedring” was estimated at 260 km East Northeast of Virac, Catanduanes with maximum sustained winds of 110 kilometers per hour (kph) near the center and gustiness of up to 140 kph. It is forecast to move West Northwest at 17 kph, PAGASA said.
