Jinkee Pacquiao's MEGA Magazine cover edited?

Jinkee Pacquiao finally broke her silence on rumors that her photo on
the cover of MEGA magazine's January 2012 issue was heavily edited.

While she did not deny that the final photo was altered, the boxing
champ's wife stressed that she prepared for the shoot and even went on
a diet to look slimmer.

"Payat siguro, oo. Payat ako tignan doon. Maganda kasi ang pagka...
'yung pictorial namin maganda ang pagkakagawa. Tsaka 'yung mga staff
din, magaling sila," she told ABS-CBN News.

"Makikita naman nila siguro sa akin na pumayat talaga ako. HIndi ko
nga alam kung nag-gain ako ng weight ngayon kasi Christmas and New
Year, so kain lang," she added.

Pacquiao also challenged her critics: "So sila na lang magsasabi...
parang tignan na lang nila ako in person."

"Basta hindi ko na kailangan mag-explain pa. Basta 'yun na 'yung
resulta ng aming pictorial. Maganda naman siya at happy naman ako nung
nakita ko ['yung cover]," she said.

Meanwhile, Pacquiao said she and her husband will have a new hotel in
General Santos City. They are also planning to open a coffee shop and
a Team Pacquiao souvenir shop.

Earlier today, MEGA magazine said Pacquiao's photo "went through the
standard cleanup process that all MEGA magazine covers go through."

It added that the magazine cover "is a collaboration of an excellent
fashion editor, photographer, makeup artist and hair stylist."

Alarcon and Miel Villamor. Krist Bansuelo did the makeup while Pops de
Guzman styled Pacquiao's hair. – With reports from Gretchen Fullido
