Mandaluyong police are tracking the alleged boyfriend of a call center employee who was murdered inside her rented room last Saturday.Maria Lusia Dominguez-Laquindanum, 44, was hogtied and stabbed 24 times inside her boarding house in Coronado Heights, Barangay Barangka Ibaba last Saturday.
Before her death, she posted on her Facebook wall that she was set to meet her boyfriend "Rafi" for dinner at her boarding house. Friends said the victim met Rafi on the popular social networking site.
Laquindanum's lifeless body was found by her board mates at around 11 p.m. Saturday.
Senior Superintendent Armando Bolalin, Mandaluyong police chief, said they are trying to get more information about Rafi.
Authorities are also trying to request Facebook management to allow them to open the victim's account.
Eman Paelmo and Sally Panlilio, 2 of the victim's board mates, believe that Rafi is the culprit behind the killing.
They said the victim tried to introduce Rafi before her death.
Paelmo said he can easily identify Rafi if he sees him.
The mother of the victim, Norma Dominguez, urged police to solve the murder.
Dominguez leaves behind 3 children. She was a human resources officer of the I Tech Call Center. Report by Alex Santos, ABS-CBN News
