Kobe Bryant arrived in Manila on Tuesday to prepare for his 5-city Nike tour.Bryant, one of National Basketball Association’s (NBA) biggest stars, will be greeting his fans at Nike Park, The Fort on Wednesday at 3 p.m.
The main event will be at Araneta Coliseum at 5 p.m. featuring players from Nike-sponsored Far Eastern University (FEU) Tamaraws, De La Salle University (DLSU) Green Archers, Ateneo de Manila University (AdMU) Blue Eagles, and Smart-Gilas Pilipinas.
Before attending the show at Nike Park, Bryant will participate in a Gawad Kalinga charity outreach in Taguig City.
Manila is Bryant’s first stop for the Nike tour before he goes to Seoul in South Korea and various cities in China.
The last time the 6'6" shooting guard visited Manila was back in July 2009 when he met young basketball players from some Gawad Kalinga communities in Taguig City.
