Aside from the 87 people, at least 10 motor bancas were also stranded in Aparri, the Coast Guard said.
On the other hand, at least 13 cars — two in Virac and 11 in San Andres in Catanduanes — were still stranded as of Sunday evening.
The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) earlier said "Egay" was moving north and may exit Philippine territory early Monday.
